Creation 2011

“Têtes-à-têtes” follows the adventures and misadventures of a strange big headed character.

The show is based on the interaction of two puppet-like characters with animated drawings projected onto the white stage and screen. Through this interaction are built the different scenes or «tableaux», as if the characters were plunged into a cartoon. Starting with birth, the piece is built like a journey through different stages or phases of life, in a metaphorical sense more than in a narrative one.

In a very visual and colourful way, the show takes the little spectators from the outer space to the warm confinement of the womb and then to imaginary spaces where anything is possible… Main themes in the piece are : the cycle of life, self-discovery, discovery of space (colours, lines, imagination), the quest for identity, discovery of the «other» and the building of a relationship.

Têtes-à-têtes is a dance show and visual theatre for young audiences from 4 years old. Duration 45 minutes.
